Row, row, row your boat

Hanzo centric fic, where Sojiro is not very involved in raising Hanzo. And one of the main guards assigned to Hanzo notices how lonely the kid is, so he starts talking to him and teaching him things. The years go by, and the guard and all the other members of the household are completely charmed by this serious yet goofy child. But out of all of them Hanzo is closest to the guard (Bear), there is a maid there that Bear eventually falls in love with and marries.

At one point the elders lock Hanzo in a dark place to take away his fear of the dark (the young master can't have irrational fears, he's in there for a few days. However, his age and the complete and utter isolation traumatize him deeply (this is also when he calls out his dragons). From a young age it was noticeable that Hanzo was a prodigy, so the Council also takes advantage of that. Bear and the others try to give Hanzo a good childhood, but it's extremely hard with the Elder's poison seeping into his young heart every day.
